Credit, Freight & Return Policy
Thank you for your interest in the products and services offered by our company.
BHJ is a low overhead manufacturer and distributor of automotive products located in the western United States. Our philosophy is to operate by the Golden Rule - we seek to treat others as we would have them treat ourselves. This means we answer the phone using human beings instead of automated attendants. It means we ship product based on when you want it shipped - if you place an order for stock parts we can ship "same-day" as late as 3: 30 PM Pacific time. If we promise you a date and miss, we will call you. Most importantly, when we make mistakes we will try to remedy the situation the way we would want it done if the same had happened to us.
BHJ CREDIT POLICY
Terms for all sales are Cash, COD-Certified Check/Money Order, or Prepaid by Visa or MasterCard unless a signed credit application is on file and has been approved by BHJ. Credit applications are available for Net 30 Days or COD-Company Check OK terms.
Sales Tax will be charged for all California, Florida & Michigan sales unless a Resale # is on file with us.
BHJ FREIGHT POLICY
All orders are sent freight pre-paid and billed, FOB Newark, California unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
BHJ RETURN POLICY
If a product needs to be returned to us for credit or repair, please call for a RMA number, which can be referenced when the package arrives and will speed the response time for repairs and returns. Most RMA returns will be processed within 7 working days. All returns to the factory must be sent freight prepaid and properly packaged to prevent the product from damage during shipping.
Shelf items returned for credit will incur a 15% restocking charge. Custom made parts can only be returned for defects in material or workmanship.
CHECK YOUR PACKAGES
WE ARE REQUIRED TO FILE ALL FREIGHT CLAIMS WITHIN 72 HOURS. PLEASE INSPECT EACH SHIPMENT FOR MISSING OR DAMAGED PARTS.
