The Valve Angle Comparator is an essential tool for any engine builder, machine shop or racer. It is an extremely simple tool that performs a vital function.

When assembling an engine using angle milled heads and aftermarket pistons, the relationship of the alve head angle to the piston relief must be checked.

The VT-6 can accomplish this quickly by first pressing the comparator to the valve head to set the angle as shown in Illustration No. 1, then placing it against the piston to check the piston relief angle as shown in Illustration No. 2.
