For precise measurement of straightness, the PSE-1 Precision Straight Edge is second only to a Granite Straight Edge for accuracy and durability.

The PSE-1 is made from almost ten pounds of stress relieved cast iron, 5/8" thick by 2-1/2" wide, making it virtually indestructible. The measuring edge is 29" long and is beveled to 1/4" wide. A pair of finger grooves has been cut in the side for safe handling. After grinding, each unit is hand finished to .0005" straightness over the full length.

Each straight edge is supplied with a wood storage block to prevent damage to the measuring edge.
