The Deck Height Micrometer simplifies measurement of cylinder block deck height. This special depth micrometer with its oversize base allows the measuring spindle to easily reach from the edge of the deck surface out and down to the Blok-Tru plate.

To determine the actual deck height, add the measured distance to the Blok-Tru center distance, which has been stamped on the face of the Blok-Tru plate.
