This 2" Precision Support Bar (top photo) is the heart of the set-up for all BHJ block machining fixtures. Use of this 38 pound, specially turned, ground and polished precision shafting provides the rigidity necessary for this critical zero datum starting point.

This is a specially machined version of the standard 2" Precision Support Bar (middle photo) in which the ends have been machined to fit equipment applications that originally came with support bars less than 2" in diameter on their ends, (Berco, DCM, Kansas Instruments, some Kwik-Way, Peterson and some Storm Vulcan).

Due to design changes and production variations it is required that the customer supply the following dimensional information regarding their original support bar, when ordering a BAR-SPEC Support Bar:
  1) Over-all length
  2) Diameter of each end
  3) Length of turned diameter of each end

The 2" Support Bar is shown in the bottom photo, installed in a block, using BHJ's Main Bearing Bore Adapter Rings.
